I was always a rusher (carpe diem, right? The clock is ticking!!), but my spiritual practice has taught me that the more I slow down, the more I enjoy the present instead of craving the future. It can be hard to maintain this without greatly inconveniencing those around us who are on the “go-go-go” pace to life, so I really appreciate your article highlighting how your current appreciation for your husband’s practice.
